Professional Visitors Gather!
Visitors’ comments from 2020 Osaka Show (excerpts)
I think it is necessary to actually see and touch real things in front of you. M-Tech is taking the lead in implementing measures against Covid-19, so there’s nothing to worry about coming to the event.
I was surprised with so many visitors came here than we had expected It is a great benefit to be able to learn about the technology while seeing it in front of you. Nothing beats the feeling of being there and seeing everything onsite.
We were surprised more and more people came all the day, and could feel that the venue was as lively as it was before Covid-19. There are some things here you just can’t do in front of a computer screen. It was great to visit the onsite exhibition.
I was able to find some new technologies, and I found some companies to do new business with. I’m glad I came today. I think the advantage about exhibitions is that you can actually see and touch the products and technologies.
I feel that the amount of people at the show hasn’t changed before the COVID-19 situation. I saw many visitors with high intensions were looking and touching products with a positive mindset to use for future purposes. Measures against through Covid-19 was perfect and this is nothing to worry.
I’ve been doing many online meetings, but it was great to see and talk to people face to face. You can get most of the information online. But it’s important to judge after seeing the real thing. That’s why I think onsite exhibitions are important.
Conference speakers’ comments from 2020 Nagoya Show (excerpts)
Director, Government and Corporate Affairs,
A variety of methods was taken against Covid-19 in the venue. After the lecture, the staffs carefully sanitized each chair. I was surprised to see them. There was a lot to gain from seeing the product and hearing directly.
Master Shaper, Watson IoT,
For myself, it was my first in-person event in six months, and I was anxious about it. But it’s well taken care of the prevention against Covid-19, and it feels vibrant and safe. Both disinfection and thermal imaging (body temperature) were requested before the visitors entering in the exhibition hall.
Corporate Vice President/Vice President Aerospace Company
Chief of Engineering & Development Center,
When I came to the onsite, I was deeply impressed by the busy business discussion and have got courage from it. It will make you understand the technology through your physical experience such as watching how the machine works and listening to the sound. I think the exhibition is essential to everyone.
Executive Operating Officer, General Manager
of Digital Innovation HQ (CIO/CDO),
Manufacturing is a “object”. It’s important to be able to see the actual thing at a trade show. You can get some information online, but the advantage of onsite exhibition is that you can touch the actual thing and hear directly from the people involved.
Exhibiting drives great success!
Exhibitors’ comments from 2020 Osaka Show (excerpts)
We had a Japanese agent exhibit on our behalf. The results were good. We were able to have intense business discussions, which are not so different from the previous exhibition before Covid-19. Particularly with machines like our 3D printer, we can’t do any sales without showing the actual machine. We received more than 10 companies’ preliminary discussions at this exhibition, which will lead to a good result.
Under Covid-19 influence, more visitors than we had expected came here. The visitors can actually see and feel the samples of our 3D printers on the spot, which made us feel it was good to exhibit. There is no change to our most important business strategy which is to have the sample seen and touched by the onsite visitors in the onsite show. We think the onsite exhibition is still the most essential to us all from now on.
